Wendy, an Accounts Clerk at Aryze, is one of the company’s longest-serving employees. Initially hired as a receptionist after her secretarial studies, she quickly seized the opportunity to grow within the company. “In 2007, following the departure of an employee, there was a vacancy in the accounting department for which I applied. Since then, I have held the position of Accounts Clerk responsible for managing debtors,” she recalls.
Alongside her promotion, Wendy also completed a six-month training program as a Credit Controller with EMS Consulting, sponsored by Aryze. “I was warmly welcomed by the team when I joined, and everyone provided tremendous support and guidance to help me meet this challenge. I didn’t just handle debtors; I also pitched in wherever needed, such as invoices, payments, and banking transactions. Today, I can confidently say that I know the accounting department inside out,” Wendy remarks.
Her journey within Aryze is far from over. “I aspire to the position of Accounts Supervisor in the near future. Recently, I completed a new training program in accounting. I am more motivated than ever to prove myself and earn this new role.”
