Clency Ross, known as Rajesh, is one of the veterans at Aryze. He currently holds the position of Storekeeper in Saint-Pierre and began his journey with the company in 2005, back when it was far from the success it is today.

“I started as a Helper on the delivery trucks. We were on the roads every day, and I got to discover many parts of the island that I wasn’t familiar with at the time. A little later, I was assigned to the store, still as a Helper, and then promoted to Operator a few years later,” he recalls.
Diligent, even meticulous, Rajesh continued to prove his worth until he obtained the role of Storekeeper in 2016. His innate organizational abilities serve him well in his daily work. As a Storekeeper, his responsibilities include monitoring inventory, placing orders if certain products run low, ensuring the correct products are loaded onto delivery vehicles, organizing their departures, and more.

It’s a challenging job, but one he thoroughly enjoys. Rajesh is also responsible for receiving products made at Tyack in Saint-Pierre and then dispatching them to shopping centers and stores across the island. His contacts are numerous, and he leads an enthusiastic team dedicated to working for a company that genuinely cares about its employees’ well-being.

“Aryze has grown a lot since I started. It has become larger, gone further, and become better. Moreover, the atmosphere has remained the same since I joined. I have very friendly relationships with my colleagues, and my superiors are always there to lend a hand or help me solve any problems,” says Rajesh.

A fishing enthusiast, Rajesh often joins a few colleagues for an impromptu fishing trip or other friendly activities on Saturdays. This father of an 18-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son is an integral part of the company and will continue to be a part of the “La Trobe family” for many more years.

“I still feel like I’m growing within this company. There are plenty of opportunities here,” he assures.
